In March 2019 the Financial Markets Authority approved the transfer of all members in the NZ Endeavor Fund to Garrison Bridge.  Members were transferred to Garrison Bridge on 3 April 2019.

 

Background

The NZ Endeavour Fund was closed to new members on 30 November 2016.  The Trustee had been considering the future of the of the NZ Endeavour Fund, given its declining membership base, and believes it is in the best interests of members for them to be transferred to Garrison Bridge.

Garrison Bridge mirrors the contribution, tax treatment and benefit provisions of the NZ Endeavour Fund, including being a Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme and using the same investment manager (TAM Asset Management Limited).

The overall effect of the transfer ensured the seamless continuity of all the benefits NZ Endeavour Fund members had introduced some benefit enhancements, more options and greater flexibility in terms of how members can now manage their personal superannuation / saving needs.
